The Boat
After careful consideration and feedback from loyal customers, Mal decided to upgrade his charter boat in 2026 for fishing charters in Victoria. He spent considerable time searching for the right boat. It needed to provide more protected space, greater comfort and shelter during inclement weather, and to comfortably handle larger waves without getting customers wet.
The new boat is a Seaquest 9m, built for performance and the ability to handle adverse weather conditions. One of the advantages of the new boat is more shelter from bad weather, so a rough forecast no longer means a miserable day.

From removing the old engine to installing the new Volvo Penta package, this repower was all about getting I'm Hooked Fishing Charters back on the water and ready for charters.
